The spa was upgraded in 2005. Treatments &
Programs: Personalised skin care treatments, hydroxy acid skin exfoliation,

luxury and the science of skincare. The ultimate in indulgence, La Prairies
signature treatments include the Caviar Firming Facial, in which a mask of caviar
pearls transforms dull complexions into radiant, luminous skin and the Diamond
Body Perfection treatment, involving a full body micro dermabrasion of diamonds,
pearls and gold, followed by a luxurious application of skin caviar luxe body
cream, resulting in beautiful soft glowing skin. For a complete indulgence
in true five star style, request Diamond Luxury, the Day Spas
most glamorous package. Beginning with breakfast in Galileo Restaurant, followed
by the Diamond Body Perfection treatment, the La Prairie Facial of your choice,
pampering for your hands and feet and a two course Spa Cuisine lunch, this is
an all day affair, valued at $670. For guests arriving straight from the
airport, The Day Spa has also introduced a new Flight Reviver menu to assist weary
travellers overcome jetlag. Treatments include a Flight Reviver massage, incorporating
the use of aromatherapy oils to revive sluggish circulation and to stimulate the
lymphatic system. A kinesiology treatment (to help correct the body clock to the
current time zone) reflexology (to rebalance the mind and body) and ear candling
(to clear the sinuses) are also available. LiTya and Dermalogica
treatments remain on the Day Spa Menu, offering a range of classic facials, mens
treatments and spa care treatments based on ancient aboriginal healing traditions.
Spa Facilities: In 2005, Four new
state of the art treatment rooms were opened, taking the total number of rooms
from six to ten, including a treatment room for couples. Each of the new rooms
have individual showers and mood lighting offering colour therapy for the soul.
Part of the refurbishment upgraded the mens and womens change room
areas, giving a face lift to the steam room, sauna and showers. The 20-metre heated
pool is mirrored by a ceiling of fibre optic lights designed to recreate the constellations
