Spa Orange is a full service spa and wellness center located in the heart of Montreal in the Best Western Hotel Europa. Built and structured with holistic philosophy in mind, the spa brings the 5 elements indoors in the décor, product lines and treatments to invite you home to yourself.

Spa Orange offers Heat Therapies, a full menu of Healing Modalities, Aesthetic Services, Fitness center, Natural Health Counseling, Life Coaching, Spa Cuisine and Isagenix Nutritional Wellness Products.

Using these tools, Spa Orange designed Wellness Programs in the tradition of European and Asian Spas, offering a haven to recreational Spa enthusiasts as well as those who are seeking more structured complementary care.

SPA FACILITIES

Spa Orange offers 2 private saunas (men's and women's) and 5 treatment rooms - 2 Couples massage rooms, an aesthetic room ( featuring the Chromalift equipment), 2 Vichi rooms ( one designed especially for couples) as well as a manicure and pedicure area which can be transformed into a beautiful space to have a friend's get-together.

Your spa experience begins in the Nordic sauna with old Scandinavian Vihtu traditions and in the splash area. Cool down on the 3,200 square-foot roof terrace and rock garden. Before continuing to the infrared Suomi Sauna, take advantage of our unique Heated Rocks Pool. It's a perfect place to warm up before the Sauna and a resting spot in between sauna sessions. Self-massagers are available for your back and neck.

Guests are offered Italian made Sensi slippers with micro massagers and have a fully stocked locker equipped with 100% cotton robes, wraps, headbands and towels. Both men's and women's changing areas feature beautifully designed rain showers as well as multiple full length mirrors and hair dryers for your convenience. A shopping tray is also available in unique retail display areas located throughout the spa.

The Asian inspired Spa Cuisine area offers delectable healthy, fresh and natural foods from both the earth and sea. You are welcomed to touch, smell and select the fruits and vegetables you wish have squeezed into fresh juices.

The fitness area is equipped with cardio machines such as the elliptical trainer, exercise bike and treadmills and Pilates equipment that offer flat screen high definition televisions to enjoy while you exercise. Personal trainers and individualized programs are available with special targeted massage in between each exercise aiming the muscle groups you just worked on so you see more tangible, durable effects to your training.

Spa Orange is located at the 6-th Floor of the Best Western Hotel Europa, which consists of 160 guest rooms and two restaurants.

WEIGHT MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS

Morning Dew Cleanse and Renew - There is evidence the body protects itself from toxins by storing them in fat cells. Spa Orange has a weight management program based on the principle that eliminating toxins will eliminate the body's need for extra fat. Under conditions of health, the body will re-organize in a balanced state. The goal of Spa Orange's weight management program is to provide healthy conditions and education about how to detoxify and re-balance, working with detoxification through daily use of IR and traditional Finnish Sauna and several cleansing diet options. These options include a simple, balanced regional/seasonal organic diet, a juice cleanse or the use of Isagenix nutritional wellness products which have been shown to effectively and permanently reduce the extra and unwanted pounds due to toxicity. Spa Orange supports this cleansing, diet and education program with supporting treatments such as fitness education, lymphatic drainage, massage and detoxifying body wraps.

ECO-FRIENDLY PRACTICES

• Spa Orange initiated a recycling program
  in cooperation with Hotel Europa/Best Western, eliminating an industrial quantity of plastic, glass and paper garbage.
• Spa Orange conserves water in its Rain Massage with the use of Shower Control Valves on our Shower Heads to reduce water flow.
  
• Spa Orange uses Skincare products to serve holistic and environmental principles:
  
  • Phyto5 products are made in Switzerland of pure, natural ingredients including clay, algae, essential oils, and trace minerals, and are animal product and cruelty free. In addition, the ingredients used to create Phyto5 skincare products are in harmony with the energy of each season. Learning to respond to regional and seasonal natural cycles is an important concept in green consciousness. Using this product line, Spa Orange educates its clients about these green concepts as they learn to respond to the unique energy of each season.
    
  • Algotherm's product lines incorporate elements from the ocean near Brittany including seaweed, sea mud, sea salt, and sea water. Algotherm protects the environment by using natural marine actives (algae) that are harvested for only 4 months of the year to allow their regeneration.
    
  • Dedicated to protecting and preserving the planet, Pevonia's philosophy is to maintain an affinity with nature and its precious resources. The packaging is fully post-consumer recyclable and totally biodegradable.They're firmly against any form of animal testing.
    
• Spa Orange uses green products:
  
  • Arayuma organic teas and spices are cultivated by a Fair Trade Farmers' coop in Sri Lanka, preserving traditional methods of sustainable, organic agriculture. The products come in reusable woven reed boxes made by farmer family members, bringing extra income to their community. In addition, the biodegradable tea bags are made from a corn based poly lactic acid sachet, which can be recycled in the compost.
    
  • Spa Orange uses honey in the kitchen for tea and cooking and for Vihtu massage in the treatment rooms. This honey comes from a local, regional apiary called: Richard Paradis & Fils, supporting regional/season green principles.
