Elemis
Spa - A Chinese designer in Hong Kong created the Elemis spa logo. The symbol
has two meanings - first, the beautiful oriental lotus flower represents creativity
and purity, amid adverse surroundings.Chinese poets and artists used lotus flowers
to inspire people to continue striving through difficulties and to show their
best part to the outside world, no matter how bad the circumstances may be. In
the western world we can liken this to the adverse stress, fast pace and pressures
of today's lifestyles. Like a lotus flower we must rise above this and recognize
the simplicity, purity and sensuality of the senses. Second, the design incorporates
a pathway down the center of the flower to another world ...that of sensory heaven.
The oriental lotus flower acts as a reminder of the miracle of beauty, light and
life, a symbolic synergy with the Elemis philosophy. |
