Willow Stream Spa at Fairmont Mayakoba was designed with the earth's natural healing elements in mind. Elements of the Mayan earth (Lu´um, Kaab -representing balance), water (Ha ó Way -purification), air (Lik -creativity) and fire (K´aak -rebirth) flow throughout.

Romantic Treatments & Programs: Willow Stream is an incredibly romantic spa destination where couples can enjoy private side-by-side spa treatments in The Fuego (fire) Suite situated high in the treetops under the mangrove canopy. A wooden catwalk leads to this palapa-styled spa suite where couples can enjoy most of the spa treatments on the menu and a private spa lunch. Side by Side Couples Massage- 60 or 90 minutesSpend quiet time together while enjoying side-by-side relaxation massages. The perfect gift to give each other...time together. Ritual of Two (For Couples) - 120 minutes - Fun. Welcome to spa time together. In our luxurious spa suite, your therapist will show you how to spend the first half hour together giving each other a spa treatment. You'll choose from a variety of muds and masques as well as a variety of baths and then be left alone to relax. The remainder of your time together, you'll have side-by-side full body Aromatherapy massages. (The luxury spa suites feature specialty tubs and spacious treatment areas.) Hip Honeymooners (For Couples) - 60 minutes - Romantic. This experience is for new honeymooners or lifelong romantics.Composed of Rose petals, Rose oil and Rosehip oil, this treatment evokes the feeling of love, sensuality and romance. A side-by-side dry brushing with a Rosehip oil massage application and full body wrap has amazing power. A great way to give or get roses any time of year. Yucatan Healing Retreat (For Couples) - 120 minutesTogetherness. The signature couples retreat is offered in your own spa suite complete with private balcony, bath, shower and bathroom. You help create your Yucatan experience by choosing from an assortment of local healing and beauty remedies that best suit your needs and mood. A Mexican sarong is presented to wear in comfort throughout the treatment and to take home. This experience includes a relaxing footbath and curativo on the patio, a choice of sea and sand body scrubs, followed by a choice of three body masks selected from local favorites - Mayan clay, cacao or honey and yoghurt. A bath in the soaking tub precedes side-by-side massages with tropical oils.

Spa Facilities: Willow Stream Spa at Fairmont Mayakoba is 37,000 square feet with 20 spa treatment rooms, most with private balconies. The men's and women's lounges feature oversized outdoor whirlpools, Regadera Suiza (Swiss Showers), Vapor (steam room), and beautiful Mexican gardens. On the men's side there is a sauna and on the ladies side there is an Inhalación (inhalation) room featuring aromatherapy that changes with the seasons. The Spa also has quiet meditation areas, a state-of-the-art Gimnasio (fitness facilities), a Salón de Belleza and spa retail boutiqueSpa guests can experience the Riviera Maya's energy, culture and history throughout. Glass walls allow nature into the spa as waterfalls from the roof deck of the pool stream down and flow throughout. Designed with a sophisticated-blend of warm, deep, rich hues of plum, wine, olive and emerald with a touch of maize and chocolate, Willow Stream Spa at Fairmont Mayakoba is reminiscent of the textures, colors and scents of the ancient Mayan culture. These Mayan-inspired touches appear throughout the spa. The reception desk is a glass-covered, hand carved Mayan canoe inspired by the traditional transportation used by the Mayans to visit and trade with other tribes. Beautiful crystals are displayed throughout in reverence to the Mayan belief that finding a crystal would speak to your heart while healing and guiding you to a good life. Other natural elements incorporated throughout the spa include Conchera Fossil stone used in the facial treatment rooms with Tikul green marble details. Porous stone, naturally formed and adjusted, is showcased in the architectural structure of the exterior walls of the spa and illustrated by its unique color. This stone was used centuries ago in the construction of ceremonial Mayan temples. The impressive Alberca Vitalidad (vitality pool) on the roof deck of the spa exhibits an awe-inspiring array of colors contrasting with the wood elements of Zapote Negro used to frame private roof top treatment areas. All of these elements are harmoniously brought together by the consistent presence of a rich chocolate marble throughout the spa.

Other Facilities: On the Pool Island, a 10,000 sq. ft. free-form pool with a swim-up bar. Children's pool with waterslide and children's wading pool adjoining main pool. Infinity edge pool -- an adult-only pool overlooking the lagoon. Ocean Front: Second Infinity edge pool, overlooking the ocean. Tower Pool: Fourth pool for both adults and children. Managed by Fairmont, the 18-hole, par 72 El Camaleòn is Greg Norman's first Mexican course design. Water comes into play throughout this championship course with two holes designed around captivating seaside features. The clubhouse includes a pro shop, lockers, bag storage, restaurant and bar.
