Metropole ESPA Monte-Carlo is a sophisticated space dedicated to the guest’s total wellbeing, relaxation and rejuvenation and provides a haven of tranquility and indulgence.

SPA FACILITIES

Metropole ESPA Monte-Carlo is a beautiful and meditative retreat situated on the ground floor of the hotel, with its own private entrance for day spa guests who do not wish to enter the hotel itself. Offering a serene and holistic haven from the hustle of Monaco, Metropole ESPA Monte-Carlo is a space that exudes stylish opulence. With its rich materials of bronze leather and copper, combined with black and white slate stone, the overall spa design is highly contemporary with an oriental essence.

The spa journey, which is designed to promote mental peace and physical relaxation for mind, body and spirit, begins with the senses being immersed in the spa’s wet area and heat experiences. The spa features a Crystal Stream room, soothing Caldarium, stimulating Ice Fountain and two lifestyle showers that create a refreshing burst of cool mint mist, or tropical rain to further prepare the body for its journey of relaxation. The sensation of complete wellbeing is heightened by the guest cocooning themselves in the candle lit relaxation room or, if they prefer a more alfresco experience, reclining on a lounger in the warmth of the private sundeck.

ESPA therapies are carried out in one of 10 treatment rooms, all beautifully designed utilising tactile, natural materials such as exquisite finishes of Pallasandra wood, slate and shimmering leather that combine to create a luxurious, peaceful environment. Mood enhancing, gentle coloured lighting promotes wellbeing and a sense of restful calm whilst the intoxicating and naturally aromatic fragrance of ESPA candles and burning oils fill the air to transport the guest into an oasis of serenity.

Couples looking for complete sanctuary and privacy can relax in the Couple’s Private Spa Suite. This enticing retreat for two includes a luxurious steam shower, deep soak bath surrounded by soothing coloured light and a private changing area. A private suite for solo visitors is also available for guests looking for seclusion.

Health conscious guests can take advantage of the spa’s 85 square-metre, state-of-the-art Fitness Studio that features the latest TechnoGym muscle training and cardio workout equipment. All the cardio training machines (exercise bikes, ellipticals, treatments) have integral specific programmes to enable targeted training appropriate to your own level .The advanced equipment also allows access to the world news during a workout on the treadmill or cross trainer.

A suite dedicated to ‘Finishing Touches’ – holistic foot and hand treatments – complements the spa, helping the guest to prepare for that sophisticated party in town or a night at the legendary Monte-Carlo Casino.

An extension of the spa, the heated seawater swimming pool and its solarium edged with oleanders, palm trees and lemon trees is accessible from the 1st floor of the hotel and is reserved for the use of hotel and spa customers who have booked four hours of treatments.
