The seven natural springs that flow from the earth at Bedford Springs
Resort have been revered as a place of rejuvenation since the time of the Native
Americans. In the early 1800’s, Dr. John Anderson became well known for creating
restorative treatments using the waters, and they became known as the “Best
Waters in the United States.” As word spread of the wonderful medicinal values
of the springs, guests from around the globe made the westward trek seeking the
healing waters unique to this area. The new Bedford Springs Resort will continue
to offer treatments inspired by the wonders of these special waters. The resort’s
springs include: The Magnesia Spring – The Native Americans would use these
waters to help stomach ailments (as in Milk of Magnesia). The Iron Spring –
These waters were used for strong bones. The Black Spring – The largest of
the springs, which produced as many as 600,000 gallons of water a day (it currently
produces around 400,000 gallons of water daily, which is used to irrigate the
golf course.) The Sweet Spring – This spring was known for producing the
best water. Guests would drink from it, or heat the water in a soaking tub over
a fire. In 2007, the famed Bedford Springs Resort reopens following an unprecedented
$120 million renewal and expansion. Treatments

you are expecting- Your medical professional’s consent is requested before
we begin your treatment. If this is unobtainable, we request that you sign a waiver

Masage - Rest at leisure as your body is soothed and your skin is pampered
with the nourishing properties of Rose oil. This massage is designed to answer
the developing needs of mother and baby and to give you the nurturing treatment
you both deserve. 50-Minutes. Spa Facilities: 30,000
