Spa Facilities: The three-story Spa at Barton Creek is over 11,000 square feet including the fitness center and salon. There are 28 treatment rooms consisting of massage and facial studios, separate ladies and men's waiting areas and locker rooms, both featuring showers, whirlpools, saunas and steam rooms. In 2008, the spa enlarged its existing retail boutique and created a new hair and nail salon with four pedicure thrones, six manicure stations and three salon and makeup chairs. Some treatment rooms were re-modeled at that time and all were named after trees and wildflowers found in the Austin-Texas Hill Country region. A nature trail is located behind the Spa Building showcasing Texas wildflowers and native wildlife.
