up for two, three or four days. The first two days are the Comprehensive
Description of The International Standards of SpaExcellenceSM.
Learn what is required for your spa to excel using the business
framework of The
Standards.
Day 1:
-
Spa Management - Learn how to communicate what is important
to your Spa’s success, define roles and responsibilities and
evaluate your Spa’s efficiency and effectiveness. Topics include
setting the Spa’s mission and vision and goals, strategic planning,
resourcing, leadership deployment and business review.
- Spa
Guest Experiences – Learn about the processes used to plan
the Spa’s treatment menu and required facilities, equipment
and supplies, control the delivery of Guest Service, and identify
ways to improve the Guest experience. Topics include booking
appointments, treatment delivery (SOPs / protocols), adding
services to the Spa menu, expanding a Spa’s facility, and providing
and displaying retail products.
Day
2:
-
Spa Operations Support – Learn how the back-of-the-house
processes are used to ensure that the Spa can deliver consistent
treatments and meet regulatory requirements in order to optimize
the Spa business operations. Topics include training needs analysis,
training staff, cleaning the Spa facility and equipment, purchasing
and receiving, product storage, and equipment and facility maintenance.
- Spa
Improvement – Learn how to identify opportunities for the
Spa to continually improve in all aspects of the Spa business
and in Guest satisfaction. Topics include evaluating Guest feedback,
root cause analysis (finding and correcting problems at their
source), Spa self-examination and assessments, using audit and
testing systems and personnel to identify what needs improvement,
and identifying and correcting sources of waste.
Day
3: Tools and Techniques for SpaExcellenceSM
This course is required for consultants seeking to become a SpaQuality
Certified Spa Consultant, but also valuable for spa management.
Days 1 & 2 are prerequisites.
- Learn
how to use proven improvement tools and techniques to help your
Spa operate more effectively and profitably. You will be able
to employ tools and techniques to better utilize The International
Standards of SpaExcellenceSM, use a defined improvement
process and measure improvement.
Day
4: SpaQuality Auditing and Consulting Practices
This course is for consultants only and is required for those
seeking to become a SpaQuality Certified Spa Consultant. Days
1, 2 & 3 are prerequisites.
