Arizona State University East Offers
Interdisciplinary Spa Management Certification
The Exercise and Wellness Department at Arizona State
University East is now offering an interdisciplinary Spa Management
Certification at its Polytechnic campus. The Spa Management Certificate
entails 34 semester hours of combined study and internship. which
takes ~one year of full time study to complete. The curriculum was
designed to meet the educational and training needs for Spa administrators,
expressed by ISPA research and by an advisory council of spa directors.
Coursework in the program includes business administration, nutrition,
wellness and fitness and an overview of complementary and alternative
