New Spa Manager for the Spa at Millbrook
February 23 2005 - A new manager for the luxurious Spa
at Millbrook starts in her role this week.
Tania Corkin has joined Millbrook from Auckland, where
she was day spa manager for a top hotel and overall assistant manager
for the hotel’s health and fitness club.
Ms Corkin said she was looking forward to her new role
at the $1.7 million Spa at Millbrook, New Zealand’s largest resort
spa facility which opened in October last year after the first spa was
destroyed in an electrical fire in 2003.
She will lead a team of professional therapists at the
spa, which features eight dry treatment rooms, two wet treatment rooms,
a hair salon, manicure and pedicure areas, a retail area, two lounge
rooms and secluded private courtyards.
“I’m looking forward to working for a company
that shares my passion and enthusiasm for the spa industry and one that
is obviously committed to the growth of this exciting industry,”
she said.
“The Spa at Millbrook is beyond doubt New Zealand’s
top destination spa and I’m looking forward to working with the
spa team to continue to deliver an outstanding five-star experience.”
