to create DiscoverSpas.com
(December 11, 2003) - Julie Register ended her relationship
with About.com today. As the creator and editor/writer of spas.about.com,
she visited and wrote about hundreds of spas. She became known as a
spa expert and was interviewed for articles in the New York Times, The
Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Spa Finder and others. During
the last 6+ years, she built the spas.about.com site to be an important
resource for both spa enthusiasts and those in the spa industry. The
site garnered over a million page views each month and won the Forbes
Best of the Web Travel Site 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and Yahoo! Internet
Life Best Spa Site 2002 awards. But, it was time to move on.
Her first new project is her web site - Discover Spas
