Receives Humanitarian Award
Blue
Water Spa, a medical spa and laser center in Raleigh NC. The Raleigh day spa is
owned by Kile Law. Kile was awarded the 2005 Humanitarian of the Year Award in
the Spa Industry. The Award was presented at the Southern Spa Conference November
6, 2005.
Since opening the Blue Water Spa in 2003, Blue Water Spa
has donated more than $800,000.00 in laser services and spa treatments to Raleigh
area charities and non-profits. Most recently, Blue Water Spa has been recognized
for opening the first Sunday of October, November and December 2005 and donating
100% of the revenue received for all services including laser hair removal, laser
facials, microdermabrasion, massage and more to provide aide to Hurricane Katrina
survivors. 100% of all product sales of skin care, make-up, candles, bath products
and more will also be donated to these efforts.
Kile Law says “giving
is both a privilege and a responsibility.” This is a philosophy that is shared
by the employees of Blue Water Spa. The staff members are all donating time and
even tips the first Sunday of the month to hurricane survivors.

She is the recipient of the 2005 Humanitarian of the Year Award from the Southern
