Stefanie Wilson Named Director of Spa and Retail at The Seagate Hotel & Spa in Delray Beach, Florida

October 8, 2009 (Delray Beach, Florida) – The Seagate Hospitality Group has announced the appointment of Stefanie Wilson as Director of Spa and Retail at The Seagate Hotel & Spa in Delray Beach, Florida. With wide-ranging professional experience garnered at local spas and national retail brands, Wilson is responsible for all spa operations of the Seagate Spa and fitness center, including overseeing staff and development of the treatment menu. She will also be overseeing the hotel’s on-site retail operations at the spa, in addition to Aqua ResortWear and Etc. Café & Gifts.

Wilson has enjoyed a successful career in retail management and within the spa industry. Prior to joining The Seagate Hotel & Spa, she spent two years as Business Manager at Elemis, a leading British spa and skincare brand, ranking as the top national salesperson in the U.S. Previously, Wilson spent time as a spa manager and retail manager, including work at a local spa in Delray Beach, Florida.

Throughout her career, Wilson’s well-honed creative talents have been applied to designing spa interiors, overseeing merchandising and purchasing for top national cosmetic and lifestyle brands, as well as creating window displays for museums and jewelry stores.

Her expertise has not gone unnoticed. Most recently, Wilson was featured in “How Do You Encourage Clients and Staff to Maintain Healthier Lifestyle Throughout the Year” in the January/February 2009 issue of Pulse magazine.

Born and raised in Skaneateles, New York, Wilson is a licensed aesthetician and holds certification in spa management.

The Seagate Hotel & Spa, a luxury boutique resort in Delray Beach, Florida, is set to debut in November 2009. The 162-room beach-inspired property offers upscale dining options, an 8,000 square-foot on-site spa and beach club privileges at the Seagate Beach Club, located less than a mile from the hotel. Signature restaurant Atlantic Grille features contemporary American cuisine with a focus on locally-sourced seafood.
