Infante Appointed Spa Director at Capella Pedregal
CABO SAN LUCAS, MEXICO (October 6, 2009) – Vanessa Infante
has been appointed spa director of the Auriga spa at Capella Pedregal, Cabo San
Lucas’ newest luxury beachfront resort and residential community. In her
new role, Infante will manage the spa and wellness center, while overseeing the
integration of Auriga’s signature lunar phase concept into treatments, exercises
and methods of meditation. Prior to joining Capella Pedregal,
Infante was spa director at The Tides Riviera Maya on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula.
She is a certified International Kundalini Yoga instructor and Master Reiki, and
has received certification in Ashtanga yoga, reflexology and massage including
Thai, Swedish and Holistic. Infante holds a degree in hotel management and is
a member of the International Spa Association (ISPA). “We
are pleased to welcome Vanessa to Capella Pedregal,” said Peter Bowling,
general manager, Capella Pedregal. “Her personal experience and knowledge
of international spa protocols and her sensibility about Mexican healing traditions
will ensure that our guests get the most from their experiences at our unique
spa.” Designed by world-renowned spa designer Sylvia Sepielli,
the Auriga at Capella Pedregal is the centerpiece of the resort and takes a holistic
approach to wellness based on the phases of the moon while featuring a uniquely
Bajan vision that introduces spa-goes to the tradition of Mexican folk healing..
The spa’s design concept and signature treatments utilize the varying energies
of the lunar cycle to relax, restore and realign the mind, body and spirit. A
tranquil oasis, Auriga encompasses 12,000 square feet and features eight treatment
rooms which float on the spa’s private pool; two deluxe couples suites with
private pools; ladies and gentleman’s relaxation areas; open-air treatment
areas; steam, sauna and ice rooms; and a private 24-hour fitness facility. The
spa is also home to the Julien Farel at Capella Pedregal Cabo, the first outpost
of the famous salon on New York City’s Madison Avenue.
