Paraiso Maya, Iberostar Paraiso Lindo, Iberostar Paraiso Beach and Iberostar
Paraiso del Mar - will now have the opportunity to relax

state-of-the-art, adults-only health and wellness center, known as El
Spa.
The spacious two-story, 27,000 square foot, full-service
spa, features 28 treatment rooms with a soothing décor. There
are saunas, jet and affusion showers, Hamman steam rooms, Jacuzzis,
Hydrotherapy treatment rooms, and Thalasso therapy pools. El Spa features
a large salt water swimming pool with water massage fountains, underwater
music system and comfortable lounge chairs positioned beneath a painted,
azure blue, sky-lit ceiling. Just outside the pool area, an enclosed
courtyard offers heated lounge chairs, surrounded by a shallow moat
of moving water for Hydrotherapy exercise. Guests of the top-tier Iberostar
Paraiso Maya have free access to the wet areas of the spa anytime. Guests
of the other three hotels in the complex have free access to the wet
areas if they book a spa treatment or anytime they wish for an entrance
fee.
Guests will be able to choose from a range of holistic,
relaxing, revitalizing and esthetic spa treatments delivered by certified
therapists including Shiat-Su, an Oriental massage which is based on
the equilibrium of the yin and yang to achieve serenity and health,
and treatments like the Aromatherapy Bath, comprised of a series of
carefully-selected essences to achieve an overall healing effect on
mind, body and spirit. In between treatments, El Spa patrons can enjoy
complimentary freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices at the bar
on the lower level.
Those wishing to invigorate their senses can indulge in
an exotic Grape Bath, a sub-aquatic massage using the relaxing and rejuvenating
power of grapes. For a sweet sensation, chocoholics may enjoy El Spas
Chocolate Wrap massage, which helps produce endorphins and fight cellulite.
Other body treatments include the Milk Bath, a treatment enriched with
natural proteins and nutrients that help beautify and hydrate the skin
or the Golden Paradise treatment, a one-hour experience using cosmetic
gold designed to leave skin glowing and rejuvenated. Guests can also
select the Coffee Wrap or the Deluxe Grape and Marine Exfoliation.
For the adventurous, El Spa offers a Temazcal ceremony,
known as the Emperors Bath from the mystic-pre-Hispanic
Nahuatl culture. The Temazcal is performed by a pre-Hispanic therapy
expert outside the main facility in small round, clay huts, heated intensely
with hot stones. Participants combine music therapy using ethnic instruments
that emit animal-like sounds with mystical chants as well as aromatherapy
from native flowers and plants and a specially cured mud designed to
bring body and mind into a complete state of equilibrium, thus increasing
spiritual strength and communion with Mother Nature. The spa also offers
a Nocturnal Temazcal ceremony to capture the serenity of the night in
a ritual that puts mind and body into a state of blissful meditation.
In addition to taking advantage of the spa, guests at
the four Iberostar Playa Paraiso resorts enjoy first-class accommodations
and the convenience of an all-inclusive vacation. A wide variety of
daytime and nighttime activities, dining and entertainment options are
