High Hampton Inn in Cashiers, North Carolina Opens Hampton Health Club, a 5,500 square-foot Spa & Fitness Facility
CASHIERS, NC – High
Hampton Inn, the rustic Blue Ridge Mountain resort currently in
its 84th season here, recently unveiled a very modern amenity: the Hampton
Health Club, a 5500-square-foot, state-of-the-art fitness and spa facility
on the High Hampton estate grounds for use by the Inn's guests. The
new facility includes an 800-square-foot multi-use room for aerobics,
Pilates, yoga, and stretching; state-of-the-art cardiovascular equipment
with personal televisions by True Fitness; free weights and resistance
training with strength equipment by Body Masters; and a core training
area with Medx equipment. Both group classes and personal training are
offered. Men’s and women’s locker rooms include changing rooms
with steam and regular showers. The club's health bar serves smoothies,
fruits, nutrition bars, and other fitness-conscious snacks.
The Spa features the world-renowned Babor line of skincare and body
products. Three private treatment rooms are the setting for a line-up
of massage, facial, and body treatment options. Massage highlights include
a Hot Stone massage and the Ashiatsu ("foot pressure") Oriental
Therapy utilizing the therapist's bare feet as tools. The European Facial
Treatment includes massage, deep pore cleansing, and carefully selected
customized serums and masks. The Sea Algae Energizing Wrap body treatment
utilizes gentle exfoliation, a soothing massage with sea algae and vitamin-rich
cream, and a soothing wrap to stimulate and invigorate the skin. The
Spa also offers nail services, including the Hampton Signature Pedicure
with triple-action exfoliation, water-based heat, intense hydration,
and a conditioning volcanic clay masque.
The Hampton Health Club also offers outdoor activities
for younger guests
including basketball goals; a playground; and The Beanstalk, an 8-sided,
28-foot climbing tower for use by both kids and adults.
