The
Lodge At Sonoma Completes Renovations including $250,000 in enhancements to the
Raindance Spa
SONOMA, CA October 17, 2007 - The
Lodge at Sonoma, A Renaissance Resort & Spa, has wrapped up a $2-million
renovation that included design enhancements and an expansion of facilities.
Surrounded
by the Mayacamas Mountains, The Lodge at Sonoma has 182 guest accommodations including
102 private cottages that dot the property between the pool and spa.
The
renovation project was directed by Aaron King of Koncept Design Group, a Los Angeles-based
hospitality design firm.
Within the guestrooms the color palette
was softened with warm, neutral tones and muted green hues. Plush leather club
chairs and sleeper sofas were also added to enhance the interior.
Additionally,
armoires were remodeled with granite tops and 32-inch flat screen LCD/HD televisions
and a connectivity pack was built in. There are also more outlets to charge peripherals;
an iPod dock and an additional desk chair. New carpet and bathroom fixtures were
also installed.
Located inside the main lodge, the Wellness
Center has undergone a complete remodel with the addition of Life Fitness cardio
and strength equipment, each with LCD tvs attached. In addition, a flat-screen
tv has been added to the strength area, while new flooring and interior paint
complete the refreshed look.
The Lodges Raindance Spa
recently received $250,000 in enhancements including a pedicure room, expanded
amenities for couples and a transformed relaxation room.
