Debuts in Uptown Dallas at The Spa at The Stoneleigh

2008 (Dallas, Texas) The Stoneleigh Hotel & Spa in Uptown Dallas announces
the opening of the NEW Spa at The Stoneleigh. The strikingly modern 5,200 square-foot
luxury spa complements the $36 million renovation of the legendary, Art-Deco hotel
re-opened on March 3, 2008. The Spa at The Stoneleigh offers a journey of the
senses for guests and locals alike. Featuring traditional and holistic therapies,
The Spa utilizes organic ingredients and the latest scientific ingredients to
revitalize, heal and nourish the mind, body and spirit.
Designed
by ForrestPerkins, a Dallas-based interior design firm, The Spa at The Stoneleigh
is a high-style destination showcasing a jewel-tone palette of soft aquamarine,
taupe and rose with bamboo flooring throughout. The Spa has six treatment rooms
including two duet rooms for treatments a deux and a wet room with
hydro tubs as well as a dry sauna. The Spa also features a hair salon, a nail
salon, and a fitness center.
The Spa at The Stoneleigh offers
a range of body and beauty products exclusive to Dallas. For instance, its
the first and only spa in Dallas to carry Davi Skincare, a vinotherapy
line developed by Carlo Mondavi Jr. of the winemaking Mondavi family in California.
The Spa at The Stoneleigh will also be the first in Dallas to carry Sonya Dakar
Body, a 100% natural body product line which launched nationally in February 2008.
The Spa also offers Billy Jealously, a Dallas-based, nationally recognized skin
and body line, which developed a special cucumber based scrub for the hotels
landmark reopening. The Pregnancy Keepsake Sculpture, which casts mommy-to-be
bellies in blue, pink and yellow plaster is also unique to The Spa.
At
a time when the environment is on everybodys mind, The Spa at Stoneleigh
keeps its eco-sensitivity on full display. The Spa is committed to using eco-friendly,
organic and natural products as much as possible and working with vendors who
are environmentally responsible. Eminence, which provides blueberry products to
the spa, utilizes alternative energy sources to create its products and delivers
them in 100% recyclable packaging via hybrid vehicles. The Spa also offers an
extensive line of Spa Ritual vegan nail care products and treatments.
The
Spa at The Stoneleighs treatment menu encompasses facials, massages and
body treatments, aimed at achieving several treatment platforms such as aging
well, organics, alternative therapies and clarity. Among signature treatments
are Le Grand Cru Meritage Facial, combining a unique blend of grapes, an anti-aging
complex of raspberries, black currant, rosemary and olive leaf extracts through
a double fermentation process; The Stoneleigh Indulgence Head-to-Toe Body Facial,
a comprehensive multi-step treatment which incorporates all the revitalizing elements
of a facial but for the whole body; the Maple Avenue Body Butter Wrap, celebrating
the hotels address utilizing a signature Bio-Maple compound; and a luxurious
sweet Milk and Honey Body Wrap. Paying homage to the hotels renowned past,
the Dorothy Draper Sweet Escape package honors the former penthouse designer with
six hours of blissful treatments. A focus on alternative therapies such as Shirodhara,
Bindi and Dosha will delight Dallasites who previously had to travel far and wide
for these treatments.
