NEW YORK – Dec 1, 2008 - Europeans, particularly the French, have always been slightly ahead of the curve when it comes to health, beauty and wellness. Their forward thinking mentality has led to phenomena such as the “French paradox,” which eventually became well-known in the United States and throughout the world. Another French strategy to health - the Beljanski approach – has announced its expansion in the United States with the opening of the Beljanski Wellness Center here in February 2009 that will be based on this concept of environmental medicine.

Beljanski’s innovative environmental medicine approach to health stems from the breakthrough research of the late Mirko Beljanski, Ph.D., a biologist-biochemist and a pioneer in the study of environmental medicine. Dr. Beljanski showed that environmental toxins damage cellular DNA, which can lead to degenerative diseases, such as cancer. Dr. Beljanski’s research showed that environmental medicine improves cellular health, and, therefore, can prevent and treat diseases.

Dr. Beljanski’s work received wide praise and media attention in France. Now, his many years of study and research are culminating in a new way to achieve ultimate health and beauty, and America’s first wellness center focused entirely on an integrative approach to extreme detoxification to achieve optimum results is opening in February 2009. The Beljanski Wellness Center will feature treatment rooms for wraps, facials, colonics, chelation, nutrition consultations, medical consultations, as well as various forms of chemotherapy. The Beljanski Wellness Center will have independently contracted physicians and nutritionist.

The Beljanski Wellness Center will also feature skincare, mineral makeup and supplements all based on the Beljanski concept of environmental medicine, and the products are natural and paraben-free. The new Fleur d’Amour fragrance by Sylvie Beljanski, an intriguing floral scent, will allow women to indulge in a sophisticated way.
