Oregon Wine Country's Premier Inn & Spa, The Allison to open August, 2009

What better place to experience Oregon’s abundance than where it all began, the Willamette Valley, a fertile paradise that yields an agricultural bounty ranging from hazelnuts to pears and wine? And in August, 2009, it gives rise to The Allison Inn & Spa, a 35-acre hillside destination hotel in Newberg, Oregon (20 miles southwest of Portland.)

That this region could reap so much bounty should surprise no one. It’s done so for more than 160 years. Early settlers quickly tapped the valley’s rich topsoil—deposited during the last Ice Age by raging floodwaters that poured from Montana across Eastern Washington and down the Columbia River Gorge. The Allison was named after the resulting 300 square-mile lake that briefly covered the entire Willamette Valley from Portland to Eugene.

The Austin family owners, visionaries behind The Allison, are direct descendants of this fertile region's earliest settlers. Which means their family legacy reaches deep into the Willamette Valley soil, rooted in seven generations of personal history.

And now visitors to the Oregon wine country of the Willamette Valley will have a one-of-a-kind destination inn and spa at the heart of it all — a soothing retreat for those looking to enjoy some of the best local wines, cuisine and natural beauty that Oregon has to offer.

The Accommodations
A total of 85 Deluxe Guestrooms & Suites on four levels (Terrace, Spa, Main and Suite Levels) are located in The Allison’s east wing. Every guest will enjoy either a terrace or balcony, fireplace, original artwork and luxurious, custom crafted furnishings. Generous floor plans range from 490 to 1525 square feet.

Restaurant and Bar
The Allison’s signature restaurant passionately prepares the freshest and finest Pacific Northwest cuisine. Varied venues offer a private dining room that accommodates sixteen, outdoor dining terraces that showcase Oregon Wine Country’s spectacular scenery and a special Chef’s Table that invites 8 guests to take a front row seat to enjoy the culinary staff creating their dinner using local ingredients including herbs clipped fresh from The Allison’s own gardens.

Meeting and Catering Venues
The 4500 sq. ft. Allison Grand Ballroom graciously accommodates up to 200 guests. Don’t need it all? No problem. The Grand Ballroom can be divided into two sections for smaller functions. And when you need it, the adjacent Foyer and Terrace offer additional delightful spaces. The Allison has thoughtfully designed venues to accommodate 10 to 200 guests with unmatched hospitality.

The Spa
The space will include 12 treatment rooms in which to rediscover sheer bliss and the healthful effects of The Allison's signature treatments and products. The spa features indoor swimming and spa pools, a fitness suite, men's, women's and co-ed lounges and a provate spa suite for small gatherings.

You can clean your home, fruits, vegetables and meats with the same 'Aqueous Ozone' that spas and other companies use. Tersano's ‘Aqueous Ozone’ Cleaning Systemt is the world's most effective chemical-free cleaner. ‘Aqueous Ozone’ quickly oxidizes (kills) viruses and bacteria (including E.coli, Salmonella, MRSA, C-Difficil), mold, mildew and other contaminants on any item or surface - from toilets to bedspreads - before changing safely back into water and oxygen. ‘Aqueous Ozone’ is 3000 times faster and 50% more powerful than bleach and chlorine-based cleaners. It is 100% chemical free - no toxins, carcinogens or chemical residue - and safe for babies, pets and people with sensitive skin or those with strong reactions to normal cleaners. ‘Aqueous Ozone’ has long been used in water treatment, food sterilization and medical therapies for its remarkable anti-viral, and anti-fungal properties. It sounds too good to be true, but the data show how effective the system works.
I'm a believer.
