concious, and donate a portion of profits to charity and cancer research organizations.
Managing
partners, Chris and Kristian Brichby, were inspired to create COOLA after experiencing
a critical wake-up call upon learning that both sets of parents were undergoing
treatment for mlanoma, a result of too many years of insufficient protection from
the sun's harmful rays. They realized that there was a genuine lack of premium
suncare products in the marketplace that addressed the unique needs of environmentally
conscious, dicriminating consumers, who demand the highest level of sun protection
without polluting the planet or their bodies with harmful ingredients.
COOLA's
soft laund in the Summer of 2008 was a great success. Spring 2009 is the official
launch.
