Medical Spas Surveyed in Feed-back.com's
Updated Medical Spa Market Report Cite Strong Business Growth in 2007 JACKSONVILLE,
OR - October 24, 2007 - Achieving long-term success in a highly competitive market
isn't easy. Feed-back.com's latest survey of medical spas indicates that most
facilities are experiencing strong business growth in 2007. During the
past summer, Feed-back.com's staff conducted a telephone survey with approximately
300 medical spas. Within the group of respondents who provided estimates of business
growth, approximately 12% felt there had been no change from 2006 to 2007. Two-thirds
reported growth this year, and nearly one-quarter of those respondents cited a
50% increase. Another 14% estimated their businesses grew 15% to 20%. The
current mix of products and services offered at approximately 400 medical spas
was also determined from survey and other source material. Between 2006 and 2007,
some services were provided at comparable numbers of facilities: Acne treatments,
cosmetic surgery, holistic/wellness, and microdermabrasion. Other services were
available from a larger number of facilities in 2007: Breast surgery, BOTOX®
/injectables/fillers; dental surgery, facials/peels, laser hair removal, massage,
and vein/stretch mark removal. Feed-back.com's newly updated "Medical
