Introducing “Prana Breath Therapy”,
a natural skincare therapy for treating environmental allergies and
related breathing problems
San Jose, CA, April 6, 2004 – People suffering from environmental
allergies, sinusitis, high histamines and related breathing problems
can all be helped with the Prana Breath Therapy treatment at Ayoma
LifeSpa, a holistic health spa offering therapies based upon Ayurveda,

including traditional Ayurvedic nasal cleansing therapy and Yogic breathing,

Throughout the experience, medicinal herbs and oils are applied with
traditional Ayurvedic techniques to draw out impurities that generate

oleation and an exfoliation of the face and neck area with a compound
of purifying herbs and lentil pastes, a natural first step towards drawing
impurities to the surface. This is followed by a guided Yogic breathing
technique that cools the system and helps to expel toxins through the
breath. A massage follows with Pollen Relief oil, comprising cleansing
herbs like manjishta and sandalwood that penetrate the respiratory channels
to loosen and liquefy congestion, and relieve sinus tension. This massage
includes ear cleansing with oil to relieve ear infections and also application
of sweet, clarified butter to the eye area to alleviate itchiness and
inflammation in the eyes. This is then followed by nasya, an expectorating
nasal oil therapy, and herbal steam inhalation to strengthen the tissues.
Finally, a cooling gel prepared from aloe, neem and turmeric is applied
to balance the skin. Following the treatment, the guest enjoys a digestive
tea to soothe heat in the mid digestive tract, the site of origin for
issues relating to sensitivity and inflammation.
