Carlsbad, CA - January 12, 2005 - Officially the first resort spa
in California to introduce this break-through treatment from Academié
Skin Care, The Spa at
Four Seasons Resort Aviara has added BOTORELAX to its menu of
cutting-edge services. In conjunction with Academié Scientifique
de Beaute, the BOTORELAX treatment features a new line of crèmes
that relax the facial muscles for up to four weeks. An alternative
to other invasive procedures, this 80-minute facial treatment visibly
reduces expression lines and softens wrinkles in a comfortable and
soothing environment.
"We are proud to be the first in California to offer this exciting
treatment targeting the first signs of aging without the possible
side effects," said Kevin South, spa director. "We see this
treatment as a perfect option for those guests wanting to look their
best for special occasions such as weddings, class reunions, birthday
celebrations - or for no reason at all!"
The treatment begins with a deep pore cleansing including exfoliation,
steam and extractions. The BOTORELAX concentrated crème is
then applied to need areas via a facial mask for a minimum of 20 minutes
during which the guest is taken to a state of complete relaxation
with a soothing head, neck and shoulder massage as well as a paraffin
hand treatment. The experience ends with the application of firming
crèmes and an introduction to the line corrector aftercare
included in the price of the treatment.
The success of the BOTORELAX line corrector is due to the high percentage
(36.5%) of innovative active ingredients - all developed and registered
by Academié. The after care has the additional luminescent
powder ingredient that reflects light from the base of the wrinkle,
thus visibly reducing the depth of the wrinkles. In recent tests,
results have shown up to 72% reduction in wrinkles after four weeks
of use.
In recognition of the effectiveness of this new treatment and facial
crème, Academié has been awarded the prize for the 'best
active ingredient utilized in a professional product' as well as the
'most innovative product of 2004' by the Le Nouvelle Esthetique committee
in Paris.
The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Aviara is the first resort spa in
California to offer BOTORELAX. Cost for the treatment is $305 plus
gratuity for an 80-minute session and includes a month's supply of
Academié's BOTORELAX facial crème valued at $105.
