month from 10 a.m. to noon during The Spas Ask the Dietician
workshop.
Private consultations are conducted in The Spas intimate and
tranquil Chi Studio. Cost is $120 for initial session (75 mins) and
$100 for follow-up sessions (50 mins).
Embracing its exotic Oriental roots, The Spa introduces the preventative
healing treatment of acupuncture with the appointment of Dr. Tiffany
Wood, a licensed acupuncturist who has a masters degree in Oriental
Medicine and Psychology.
Practiced for over 2,500 years in China, acupuncture is part of the
holistic system of traditional Chinese medicine, which views health
as a constantly changing flow of energy or qi. Acupuncture treats a
full range of diseases, infections and immune system disorders by using
acupuncture needles to conduct the flow of energy to stabilize the body
back to harmony.
Treatments will be performed in one of The Spas spacious private
suites overlooking Biscayne Bay. Cost is $130 and includes consultation
and evaluation and an acupuncture treatment (60 mins).
We are extremely delighted to bring innovative services to the
spa, which complements our existing spa treatment program, said
Osa Mallo, spa director. We look forward to provide our guests
with experiences that significantly enhance their overall well-being.
