Description: Nestled among spectacular views of the Santa Rosa Mountains, THE WELL at Miramonte Resort & Spa is a relaxing and unique spa retreat in Indian Wells, one of Palm Spring's most exclusive desert communities. A lush oasis rises to greet you; crystalline pools lined with shady cabanas, blooming gardens and graceful fountains are a call to relaxation. Treatments & Programs: THE WELL features a full range of health, wellness, and beauty facilities as well as regional treatments that are distinctive and unique. Their services incorporate techniques inspired by Tuscan living including therapeutic muds, wine extracts, pure essential oils, and refreshing waters. The spa program was designed to accomplish one important goal, to enliven one’s senses and bring a sense of relaxation and rejuvenation to the body and spirit.

One of the signature services, the Pittura Festa (Painting Party), encourages guests to find their artistic side – not to mention their inner child – using brushes to paint colorful muds and clays on themselves or a partner’s body, face and hair. Post-painting artists can then bask in the warm desert sun in their private cabana, letting the nourishing muds detoxify the body and help sooth the muscles and joints. A therapist will perform scalp massages and personalized pressure-points facials while the mud dries.

Other distinctive features and services include Watsu, bagno vino (Italian for wine baths) and Vichy showers provided on tables built from 100-year-old Acacia cedar, carved in the shape of mangrove leaves. In addition, two “river benches” allow guests to lie upon sculpted stone chaise lounges immersed in a shallow stream of water much like a natural riverbed.

Romantic Treatments & Programs: Couples Massage: Share the ultimate relaxation with a close friend, family member or significant other while two therapists perform simultaneous massage on the Balcone d'Terapia - our Spa veranda. Choose from the following modalities: Miramonte®, Maestro, Map of the Body, Aromasoul or Mother-to-Be. 60 or 90 Min. Couples Massage and Bath: Share the experience of a massage with the remaining 30 minutes of the experience in taking the waters while soaking in a luxurious couples tub. 60 or 90 Min. Couples Watsu: Each person receives 45 minutes of individual work while the other enjoys our signature river bench water feature. For the last 25 minutes, the couple learns the art of basic aquatic massage on each other. PITTURA FESTA PER DUE ~ PAINTING PARTY FOR TWO - Using colorful muds and clays with brushes on body, face and hair, have a festival of fun with earth paints. Let the brush go wild! Take time to be together to experience our signature service, which allows creativity to flourish and the inner child to see the light. This service takes place outdoors in a private setting. An attendant will provide all that is needed and can assist with application. During the mask setting time over sun or mist, a facial massage is performed with warm towels. A Swiss shower completes the experience. A bathing suit is optional. Please consider pigments will touch garments worn. Disposable paper suits will be made available. 45 or 90 min.
