Advertise on Discover Spas

There are a number of opportunities to advertise on Discover Spas (currently over 10,000 pages) - Banner Ads, Tower Ads, Targeted Page Ads, Featured Spa Ads, Classified Ads and Newsletter Ads. Please note that these are not pay-per-click ads. The advertiser pays for one (1), three (3), or six (6) months, and the ad will be in its location for the entire time. Tower Ads* 

• Tower Ads appear in the left or right columns of each of the 10,000+ pages of the DiscoverSpas.com.
• The advertiser may choose left or right column.
• The graphic links to the advertiser's URL of choice and has a maximum width of 125 pixels.
• Tower Ads for spas appear under "Featured Spas."
• Tower Ads for other businesses or merchandise appear under "Spa Store."
• There is no limit to the number of Tower Ads running concurrently.
• Tower Ads are sold to run for 1, 3 or 6 months

• Featured Spa Ads are comprised of an image or group of images up to a maximum of 450 pixels W x up to 200 pixels H above the name of the spa or business and the location. For spas, the image and the text are linked to the spa's listing page on DiscoverSpas.com. For businesses, the image and text are linked directly to the business' web site.
• Spas that purchase a 6-month Featured Spa Ad get a free Enhanced Listing.
• At this time, only one Featured Spa Ad can appear on each index page.

• Targeted Page Ads are sold to run for 6 months

• The Leader Board Ad, the most prominent ad product, resides at the top of each of the 10,000+ pages of DiscoverSpas.com, just below the purple line of the header.
• The graphic, maximum size 90H x 728W pixels, links to the advertiser's URL of choice.
• Only one Leader Board Ad is available and they will appear in the order they are purchased.
• Leader Board Ads are sold to run for 1, 3 or 6 months.

Banner Ad - Top*

• The Top Banner resides at the top of each of the 10,000+ pages of DiscoverSpas.com
• There are two locations available:

• The graphic, maximum size 90H x 234W pixels, links to the advertiser's URL of choice.
• Only one Top Banner Ad is available in each location at a time and they will appear in the order they are purchased.

Newsletter Ads*: Newsletter Ads appear in the DiscoverSpas.com Newsletter. They include a photo linked to the advertiser's web site, up to 100 words of descriptive text, and a text link to the advertiser's web site. A maximum of 5 Newsletter Ads can appear on each newsletter. DiscoverSpas.com Newsletters are sent out monthly (starting August 2005).

*Advertising and Ecommerce Policy:

• DiscoverSpas.com does not accept illegal advertisements or any advertisement that is objectionable or in bad taste.
• Ads of a sexual nature and/or links from ads to a site that contains content or products of a sexual nature are not allowed.
• If an ad is accepted, and sexual material is added during the ad run period, the ad will be immediately removed without notice. There will be no refund of money for the time the ad did not appear on the site.
• Ads that flash, generate pop-ups or pop-unders, or are otherwise deemed obnoxious by Julie Register are not allowed.
• Clickthrough reporting is not available.
• Clickthrough traffic volume cannot be estimated or guaranteed.
• Prices subject to change without notice.
• Most advertising and third-party affiliate program content is clearly distinguished from the editorial content by its location in the header, left column, right column and footer of the DiscoverSpas.com pages.
