Treatments & Programs: The Heartland is a private health retreat where a wide spectrum of wellness goals are addressed on an individual basis. Programs are offered for small groups of up to 32 guests who share a common health objective. The Heartland provides an opportunity for guests to learn, experience and utilize the most accurate, available scientific information regarding fitness, nutrition and stress management so they can begin to make desirable changes in their lifestyle...all in a fun-filled, relaxing, environment, supervised by a trained professional staff. The State of the Heart Program: Together, experts of Iroquois Memorial Hospital and the Heartland Spa will use your medical profile to set realistic goals, develop a personalized working plan and get you started right away with the Spa's program to achieve your optimal health.
Nutritional Programs: Covering the basics of healthy eating balanced diets, optimum nutrition, healthful cooking techniques, and weight loss management.
Stress Management: Utilizing exercise, various massage, yoga, tai chi, relaxation and meditation techniques and classes.
Beauty Programs: Offering a wide choice of personal services, including facials, massages, manicures, pedicures, body treatments, and aromatherapy relaxation.
All programs at The Heartland are aimed at establishing long-term health care habits which the guest can apply to everyday living. Emphasizing cardiovascular training, stress management techniques, nutrition awareness, exercise supervision and weight loss assistance.

Spa Facilities: The multi-level barn houses a complete health spa, including: Exercise room with Pneumatic resistance weight equipment (CAM II), Cardiovascular workout equipment (Treadmills, Schwinn stationary bikes, and Precor elliptical crosstrainers), Free weights, Steam rooms, saunas and whirlpool, Massage Center, Men's and women's locker rooms.

Other Facilities: The Kam Lake mansion has been transformed into a comfortable guest house, providing a suitable environment for easy socializing and learning.
