fitness and weight loss destination, founded in 1978 by the director, Jimmy LeSage,
M.S., New Life is one of the oldest and most established vacation package programs
of its kind in the country catering to over 500 guests each spring through the
fall season. The New Life Hiking Spa season runs from May 13th through Oct. 21,
2005. Intimate group setting is limited to 30 participants. Treatments
and Programs: The following spa services are offered daily: Full body
massage (Swedish, deep tissue, sports, etc.), Deep cleansing and hydrating facial,
Reflexology, European hot stone massage, Ohashiatsu, Raindrop Essential Oil Massage,
and Herbal Re-texturizer body exfoliation. Hiking options accommodate beginner,
(along picturesque country settings) intermediate , (along the diverse terrain
of the Appalachian and Long Trails) and advanced (challenges up the some of the
highest peaks in Vermont) fitness levels. New Life Hiking Spa advocates a respect
for the nutritional value of food as well as it origin, seasonality, availability
and freshness. Whenever possible, New Life Hiking Spa serves food that is raised
locally, using sustainable techniques by farmers and purveyors who have a respect
and love of the land on which we live. Choice of stays include: A
2 to 4 day Mini Vacation is an outdoor fun, stress-reducing getaway. Enjoy the
Vermont mountain scenery and fresh air as well as spa amenities. A 5 to
10 day Jump Start Getaway allows you to lose weight, de-stress, and get stronger
while learning new techniques to continue with a healthy life style. A
Weight Loss Retreat of 11 days or longer empowers you to make realistic solid
changes in your eating habits and lifestyle. Our extended program provides a safe
comfortable environment where you can realize your permanent weight loss goals.
