TTG Travel Awards for Spa
BANGKOK:
October 25, 2008 - The Asia Pacific travel industry applauded 66 best performing
travel trade organizations and individuals tonight at the annual TTG
Travel Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner at Sofitel Centara Grand, Bangkok attended
by 800 travel trade professionals.
Winners of the Travel Agents
and Travel Suppliers Awards were determined by votes cast by readers of TTG Asia,
TTG China, TTGmice and TTG-BTmice China between June and August, while the winners
of the Outstanding Achievement Awards were determined by TTG editorial team. More
than 17,000 TTG readers across Asia Pacific participated in the voting exercise
this year. This translates to a 31% response rate.
The awards
included Travel Supplier Awards, Travel Agent Awards, Outstanding Achievement
Awards and Travel Hall of Fame.
Travel Supplier Awards were
presented to airlines, hotels, resorts, serviced residences and spas. The awards
for the Spas category were:
Best Spa Operator: Banyan Tree Hotels &
Resorts
Best New Spa: The BARAI at Hyatt Regency Hua Hin
