nature, nurturing and knowledge, a series of programs including: Spontaneous Movement,
Effective Communication, Sutra Meditations and Moonlight and Sunset Hikes are
offered. Also offered are other unique services such as: Sound and Vibrational
therapy, The Moffett Method, Intuitive Touch, Egyptian Anointing and Life Reading
Massage. Yoga, Tai Chi, hikes, lectures and fitness classes. Packages. Spa
Facilities: The intimate 2,500 square-foot spa accommodaes 6-8 clients
at a time. There are 4 treatment rooms, 2 manicure tables, and 2 pedicures chairs.
Some treatments offered in guest’s room. A spa expansion to bring the total
square feet to 5,000 and adding sauna and steam rooms is planned for the Spring
of 2005. Treatments are designed to be organic utilizing only basic equipment
(hot stone heaters, towel warmers, facial steamers, high frequency machines when
necessary in a facial, hydraulic tables for massage and facials) because equipment
uses electricity which gives off frequencies that are not healthy. Other
Facilities: Nestled in the shadow of the remarkable Sangre de Cristo
Mountains, of New Mexico, everything at El Monte Sagrado™ has been designed
for your comfort and pleasure. Guests may choose from unique Native American-style
Suites, Artist-series Casitas or exclusive two bedroom Globally-designed Suites.
They have all been filled with exquisite artifacts and painted by local and international
artists. Enjoy an impressionable stay in Egypt, Morocco, Japan, Tibet or our exclusive
Kama Sutra suite to name a few. One and two bedroom Historic Casitas with private
kitchens and courtyards are also available in and around the village of Taos.
De la Tierra® restaurant is the very definition of culinary creativity, with
freshest local provisions providing imaginative twists on Southwestern delicacies
and American classics, and a scintillating wine list that’s just begging
to be uncorked. Eco-Friendly Practices: The
eco-friendly resort uses geothermal heating and water recyling with a $500,000
complex water recycling and purifiatoin system called a Living Machine which pumps
filtered wastewater through a pool rich with bacteria, fish, plant roots, snails. El
