Jennifer Lynn Named Spa Director
at Qua Baths & Spa, Caesars Palace
LAS VEGAS - Caesars Palace is pleased to announce the
appointment of Jennifer Lynn as the Spa Director at Qua
Baths & Spa, an alluring new experience at the legendary hotel
and casino. An innovative industry professional with vast experience
in many facets of spa design, development and management, Lynn will
be responsible for all operations at the lavish, 50,000 square-foot
spa, opening November 2006.
Qua Baths & Spa is guided by the healing and calming
powers of water and "Social Spa-ing," an inviting new concept
in the spa industry, focused around the development of areas designed
for interaction with others. Located in the Augustus Tower at Caesars
Palace, Qua's immersive atmosphere includes a circuit of Roman Baths,
the city's first Arctic Ice Room, tea lounges in the men's and women's
lounges, a cutting-edge Fitness Center, as well as a wide array of skin
and body treatments administered by "Artisans".
"I believe the work therapists and estheticians administer
is an art, and with that, I want them to approach every treatment they
give with the same passion and creativity as artists do when creating
their finest masterpieces," said Lynn.
A self-proclaimed desert flower, Lynn is right at home in the glittering
backdrop of her native Las
Vegas, finding solace and strength amidst the pulse of the city and
the desert expanses that surround it. She brings an in-depth understanding
of the spa industry to her new position, along with a unique appreciation
of what contemporary spa goers and Vegas-bound travelers appreciate
in a spa destination.

Gary Selesner. "For many years Jennifer has her pulse on the spa
industry, and her creativity, passion and vision for Qua has inspired
everyone involved."
Prior to joining the spa development team at Caesars Palace,
Lynn spent four years as a Spa Business and Design Consultant at a number
of renowned resort-spas throughout the U.S., including Ritz Carlton
Reynolds Plantation in Lake Oconee, Georgia; Montage Resort and Spa
in Laguna Beach, California; Sasanqua Spa at Kiawah Island Club in South
Carolina and the Poseidon Spa at The Mansion on Forsyth Park in Savannah,
Georgia. She has also worked on the pre-opening teams of these prominent
new resort-spas.
Previously, Lynn gained significant operations and management
experience as the Executive Spa Director at Bacara Resort and Spa in
Santa Barbara, California, as well as at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino
Spa and the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino, both in Las Vegas.
A driven, focused and active professional within the spa
industry, Lynn serves as Chairperson for the Las Vegas Spa Association,
leading the growing organization of 25 area Spa Directors and a large
affiliate membership. The association is committed to providing community
outreach programs, networking opportunities and the overall promotion
of local area spas. She has also been a member of ISPA since 1998.
Lynn received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from
the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 1998.
Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars Palace Las Vegas will feature
51 treatment studios including three deluxe Couple's Studios, two personalized
hydrotherapy tubs, three Vichy showers, seven facial studios, 35 massage
studios and a Crystal Body Art Room. Enticing Roman Baths will create
a soothing, immersive atmosphere for guests to relax, while a high-tech,
5,500 square foot Fitness Center will be outfitted with Technogym equipment.
