of Balance Spa & Fitness at the Loews
New
Orleans Hotel, located at 300 Poydras Street in New Orleans, LA. Forced
to
close after Hurricane Katrina, Balance Spa & Fitness re-opened on November
1 with its full range of luxury spa and fitness services. Balance offers state-
of-the-art
cardiovascular and strength exercise equipment, personal training
sessions,
and an indoor 50-foot lap pool. Its spa services include massages,
facials,
manicures, and pedicures. Hot tubs and saunas are provided as well.
To show
support for the revitalization of New Orleans, Balance is offering
its services,
including weekly and monthly fitness memberships, at discounted
rates to anyone
involved in the rebuilding efforts. To be eligible for a
discount card, people
simply need to show identification as a qualified
contractor or government
